Smartenglish.lk is an innovative English learning platform dedicated to nurturing confident, creative, and capable young communicators. Founded by passionate educator Mrs. M.M.Subhadra Kumari Sumanasinghe (Subha Teacher), who is an ESL teacher and government school educator in Sri Lanka. Driven by a deep belief that every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, she founded Smart Readers Club and SmartEnglish.lk to make English learning engaging, accessible, and meaningful. Through these initiatives, she has empowered students from diverse backgrounds to build confidence, improve language skills, and develop a lifelong love for reading. Her work goes beyond the classroom, creating supportive learning communities that inspire curiosity and growth. Subhadra is passionate about innovative, student centered education and continuously seeks new ways to uplift young learners.

Smartenglish.lk was born from a vision to transform how English is taught. The platform offers a diverse range of programs from reading clubs and quiz competitions to adventure based learning such as treasure hunts, escape rooms, and spelling bee challenges. Each initiative is thoughtfully designed to enhance vocabulary, reading fluency, comprehension, public speaking, and even build knowledge in STEM education.
